Setting up the Windows 10 Mail app.

To connect your new mailbox to your Mail app

In Windows 10, open the Mail app, and then choose Accounts.
Choose Add Account, and then choose Advanced Setup.

Choose Exchange ActiveSync, and then provide the following information.

Required Information Description
Email address: Your lightlink.com email
Password: Your password
Username: Your lightlink.com email
Domain: Leave this field empty
Server mobile.mail.us-east-1.awsapps.com
Server requires encrypted (SSL) connection Select Enabled
Account name Your account name
Choose Sign in.

A few extra tips:

  • If you are sure you've set everything up correctly, but still can't connect, try rebooting your apps and even your devices. Sometimes that's all it takes.
  • If you make a big mess of the setup, you can delete the new account you were trying to add, restart, and start over.
